Breast ptosis is examined in 3 stages: In first degree ptosis, the nipple has descended to the level of the inframammary line or 1 cm below it. In second-degree ptosis, the nipple has descended 1-3 cm below the inframammary line, but is still facing forward. In third-degree ptosis, the nipple shows a stroke of more than 3 cm and is directed downwards. There is also a condition called pseudoptosis – in which the breast is loose and drooping, but the nipple is above the inframammary line.

What Awaits You During the Surgery Process

Various surgical techniques are used during breast lift surgeries. These operations can only be performed with an incision made around the nipple, or sometimes with a straight line under the breast or a line we call inverted-T.
